Parking
You may have noticed that we have some signs outside school asking drivers to be mindful when parking. We hope that these will make people think about where they are parking when dropping off and collecting children from school. One of the neighbours who has had difficulties with people blocking her driveway in the past sent a lovely email thanking us for trying to put something in place.
Thank you for being courteous to our neighbours.

Safeguarding and Family Support
Please remember that if you require support with food for you and your families, please speak to Mrs Stacey who can facilitate you with support and offer information regarding Local Food Banks, Community Larders and Community Fridges.
We have been kindly donated a considerable amount of food by one of our governors, which we have organised into emergency hampers. These hampers are available in crisis situations when access to external agencies and services is unavailable. We hope that having these emergency hampers on site will prevent any of our families from going hungry.
If you are struggling, please don’t suffer in silence Mrs Bardsley and Mrs Stacey are always on hand to talk to about any concerns you may have and signpost you in the direction or appropriate support.

Anti-Bullying Week
Children’s Anti-Bullying Week is next week (14th-18th November)
The Anti-Bullying Alliance and CBeebies Andy and the Odd Socks have partnered up to raise awareness of Bullying.
On Monday 14th November, we are inviting children and staff to come to school in uniform but wearing Odd Socks (NO donation necessary) Odd Socks Day provides an opportunity in your school to have fun, be yourself, and spread awareness of the core values Anti-Bullying Week promotes.
We will be taking pictures and entering the Anti-Bullying Alliance competition where we could potentially win a visit from Andy and the Odd Socks! Andy and the Odd Socks have released a new version of their toe tapping song ‘Calling Out’ for Odd Socks Day this year along with a new video: https://youtu.be/NNR2eyOzLKw
Children in Need: Friday 18th November
The theme this year is ‘The Great Spotacular’.
We are asking children and staff to dress in spots, bright colours and/or Pudsey accessories and to bring in a small donation if possible to contribute to a great cause.
If you would prefer to donate electronically the link is as follows: https://donate.bbcchildreninneed.co.uk/
Thank you for your continued support.
