We are delighted to announce that following our accreditation assessment in October, we have again been awarded Gold by UNICEF UK’s Rights Respecting School programme.   As part of the assessment, the Rights Respecting Ambassadors, a selection of children, parents and staff were spoken to about what Rights Respecting looks like in our school.  That, along with lots of evidence we presented before the visit, really impressed our assessor.  She spoke highly about the children's knowledge of their rights, their confidence in their own voices and their understanding of why the convention of rights is so important.

As a team, we take pride in being a Rights Respecting School, and we are thrilled that the hard work of the Co-op Academy Broadhurst community has been recognised again.   We have lots of ideas about how to progress our work further and the Rights Respecting team will be helping plan our next action plan.
