Y6 visit to Tatton Park

As part of their learning around WWII, Year 6 visited Tatton Park last week.

The Year 6 children enjoyed the living history day at Tatton Park which focussed on WWII, during the year of 1941. They all participated in a range of activities with enthusiasm and this visit enhanced their growing knowledge of life during the war. For example, they learned how to use flags to send messages through the visual system of semaphore and learned how to manually wash clothes and peg them out. Their behaviour was exemplary and was commented on by the staff who work at Tatton Park. All in all, it was a great day!
