The Year 2 children thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Chester Zoo. We took part in a workshop to find out more about African animals to support our ‘What makes Africa amazing?’ learning challenge. We particularly enjoyed observing the meerkats, the elephants and the giraffes. The children’s knowledge of these animals really developed throughout the day. We even had time to go through the ‘Lemur Trail’ and the spooky ‘Bat Cave’. We really did have a fantastic day!
