Year 3 went to Treak Cliff Cavern for their educational class trip.  Here they were able to combine their learning from rocks and fossils in science, along with the ‘Why is the Earth Angry?’ learning challenge. 

The children were able to explore the cavern- understanding how stalagmites and stalactites grow; how the name Blue John came about from the infamous Blue John stone; looking at fossils within the cavern and much, much more.
